My excuse for that stupid headline is that I saw the Fab Faux last week. Be that as it may, please come to Ochi's Lounge on Monday and find the rotten apple in this unbelievable bunch.

Marlene Nichols is a writer/performer and at any given time at least one of her multiple personalities is appearing around town at such venues as The Kraine Theatre, Mo Pitkins, Stage Left Studio, and Cornelia St. Cafe. She has had several of her character monologues commissioned by the Winter Harbor Theatre in Maine and performed at the 2006 Culture Project's Impact Festival. She is the 2006 recipient of a Fantasy Fountain Fund Grant to write and study in Paris. Her solo show "Seeing Voices" is currently being workshopped at Stage Left Studio, New York.

Ryan Britt is a hails from Mesa, Arizona where he studied Education, Literature, and the art of paying rent a few days late. In New York, he has been seen on stage performing his non-fiction monologues at The Moth, and Speakeasy Stories. His writing has been featured on Mr. Beller's Neighborhood and reallysmalltalk.com Ryan's fiction has been selected as a finalist for multiple Glimmer Train Stories short story competitions. His most recent play, Encounter at Greenpoint was produced in December as part of the Longest Lunch's theatre festival in Tribeca.

Cyndi Freeman is an actress, playwright, story teller and burlesque performer. Currently she produces two shows in NYC, Hotsy Totsy Burlesque and Story Telling at Coraline Cafe (www.myspace.com/cyndifreeman.) Her one woman shows have been performed as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the New York International Fringe Festival. Ms Freeman is a recipient of a grand prize play writing fellowship award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (with collaborator Ellen Groves). Other credits include HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime.

H.R. Britton is a NYC storyteller who gravitates towards the anxiously comic. His monologue, From Madison to Madurai: 134 Days in Mother India, is wry look at his pilgrimage to India. His other original monologues and literary adaptations include Washington Irving’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Nikolai Gogol’s The Nose, Pieces of Calico Pie and The Kafka Thesis. Hi!
